*SERVICE ADVISOR*

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and schedule service appointments
  • Meet and greet the customer and liaise with them during repair
  • Document and invoice repairs
  • Ensuring job cards are properly completed
  • Balancing technicians’ daily hours and ensuring proper daily clocking
  • Liaising with stores staff in relation to all parts issues
  • Dealing with our warranty partners on a daily basis

What skills are needed:

  • Friendly personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Technical experience in the motor industry
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Good time management

*APPRENTICE MECHANIC *

For this role, the successful candidate will be:

  • 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice
  • Highly motivated individual
  • Eager to commence a challenging career
  • Have a desire to gain valuable and worthy experience
  • Be able to demonstrate a keen aptitude towards the job
  • Have the ability to work under pressure.

*QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN*

For this role, the ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics and be capable of producing high quality work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing the visual check or on-board diagnosis
  • Checking vehicle history and carrying out pre diagnosis
  • Carry out vehicle diagnoses in line with manufacturers standards
  • Perform removal and installation work
  • Communicating with parts department to obtain parts required , inform workshop manager if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary
  • Attend professional training as requested
  • Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies , procedures and safety standards

What skills are needed?

  • Trained and certified in a motor service profession
  • Ideally experienced in working with Mercedes-Benz commercials or trucks
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a desire to upskill
  • Knowledge of diagnosis methods
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Reliability and trustworthiness
